Phone system and MiFID II call recording
From the 3rd of January 2018 Independent Financial Advisors (IFA’s) must record all telephone calls with clients or potential customers with any of the following activities:
reception and transmission of orders
execution of orders on behalf of clients
dealings over the telephone
making an investment decision in connection with discretionary mandate given by a client; or
transfer of financial instruments to or from accounts.
